A Little Fabric Basket

I have been wanting to make one of these little fabric baskets for a long time. So today I made one using a kitty fabric and a small print in white, blue and green. I think I will make more in a variety of sizes.

More 5 Stone Bags

I now have 130 little 5 Stone bags. I am having fun making them. Also, I have finished 19 little drawstring bags to put the 5 Stone bags in.

I made some of the little bags and filled them will plastic pellets that I had leftover from a dollmaking class several years ago.

Japanese Fabric

I made this little bag today. Keiko gave me the melon print when I saw her in Saskatoon in the summer of 2009. I had the black and white fabric in my stash as well as the lining. The bag is lightly quilted.

Travel Size Pillows

This morning I made five pillowcases for travel size pillows. I will take them out to the airport gift shop later in the week - maybe. Wow! It is Wednesday already.

I still need to put away my Christmas stuff. Sigh.

It is senior discount day at Shopko. I want to go over there and check out the tennies. I could use a new pair.

Out of the Doghouse

The grandtwins requested clothing for their stuffed animals for Christmas. I ran short of time and did not make them. Sigh. I have no measurements. However, today, I took a wack at digging my way out of the doghouse. I make skirts and little capes. I hope they fit.

Knitting

I have been knitting for the last couple of days. Here is the beginning of a scarf I am making. Very simple. The yarn is different shades of blue and some of it is iridescent.
