Decorating fun

I bought a quilt.  It is the inspiration for decorating my living area in the next apartment.  I have some extra fabric from the Poppy collection.  I am going to make pillow covers for decorator pillows, table skirts and table runners, etc.  This is what I have done so far.

Six dresses.

I made six little dresses.  I thought...ok, I am going to make peasant dresses for Piper and Taylor.  And, then, I thought, ok, why don't I make Gwen's daughters dresses, too?  And, why don't I make Gabriel's daughters dresses as well?  And, that is how I got up to six dresses.

I see that I am way overdue for an update on my blog.  Sometimes life just gets in the way.  I am still in my upstairs two bedroom apartment.  I am looking forward to moving downstairs to a one bedroom apartment sometime next month.  So... while I am still here I am going to enjoy the view from my balcony as much as I can.

I share a birthday month and day, not year, with my downstairs neighbor, Sandy. This year I gave here this decorator pillow.

Ironing board cover, Sewing machine cover and mat

My ironing board cover was shot. So I made a new one. Also, I made a cover for my Bernina sewing machine and a mat as well. I love this fabric collection.
