Origami Pouches

I finished 2 origami pouches today. Yes, they are made of fabric. I have 4 more started, too.

Mountie fabric in flannel

I really need to finish this little denim jacket with the flannel mountie print fabric. I think it is around a size 2.

Denim jacket

Here is one of the lined denim jackets I am making for Christmas. I think this is Taylor's or it could be Piper's. Sorry, it is a little wrinkled and I still need to hem up the sleeves and the back.

The Sewing Room

Today I bit the bullet and purchases a new computer at Costco. I have missed my online friends. Now it is catch up time. Here are some photos of my new apt.

Pizza for Breakfast

I had a wonderful time yesterday in Sonoma County. I left Rio Vista at noon. I stopped at Schellville Grill in Sonoma for lunch - trip tip sandwich and lots of lemonade. This grill was on Guy's "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" on TV. The food was very, very yummy. I relaxed while getting a pedicure in Petaluma. After that I met Wendy D. at The Quilted Angel. She is a new quilter and had never been to the QA. I bought the end of the bolt of a purple batik - just a bit over a yard. Then we went to Mary's Pizza Shack for dinner. I had Anna's Mediterranean Pizza and a salad and lots of iced tea. Wendy L. and Catherine met us there. These ladies are former co-workers at Willitts Designs. I enjoyed our visit and catching up on news. It was around 8PM when I left Petaluma, and still light. It was dark when I reached the section where of Hwy 12 and I-80 meet. The last stretch of Hwy 12 east from Fairfield to Rio Vista was quite stressful - single lanes each way. I arrived back at my sisters around 9:30 PM and was glad to be home for the night. I enjoyed the leftover pizza slices for breakfast.

Here is a ufo that has been around for several years. What was I thinking? I just want it finished. But I am stuck on how to finish it. Sigh. You can't see the black thread stars quilted in the black squares.

Denim backpacks

I finished two denim child size backpacks today. They are for a friend's twin boys. They will be two years old tomorrow. I am planning to go to their birthday party after work tomorrow.

Twelve Boo Boo Bags

I made a dozen boo boo bags today. They are different sizes. I put pearl barley inside them. Some are for gifts. I will donate some to the church bookstore. I will make more and take some to the airport gift shop.

I finished this little quilt today. I have been wanting to make this... I guess you would call it style. It is random length strips, and not exactly a pattern.

A Crazy Little Doll Quilt

I finished this UFO today. I think the colors are so very cheerful - French country yellows, white, and blues.

Doll Skirts, Etc.

I have been sewing doll clothing today for the twins. I will send these skirts and panties along with the strawberry heart shaped marshmellows I am sending to them for Valentine's Day.

Bibs

I made these bibs today. Three are quilted. Four are not quilted and have denim on the back. I still need to put the velcro on them.

I finally got a chance to sew today. I had to pick up first, and that was a major task. Here is the king sized pillowcase I made for myself.
